The Power of a Raw Diet

You are what you eat. Well, simply put that doesn’t mean that if you eat a banana you become a banana. It means that if you are a life that is dependent on other lives for its existence. Recollect all that you eat is living in nature (in some form or other). Even the grains that you eat were once a life.

To come straight to the point our intestines are very long and its always tropical climate down there. What it means ! To understand this lets do an experiment, keep some raw veggies in a bowl, accompanied with some cooked ones and check which of the bowls riot first, obviously the cooked one.

This is talking in terms of physicality, in terms of energies, a unique cleansing happens in your body if you rely more on raw food. In Yogic culture this was achieved by eating a particular kind of food when on fasting. Fruit diet is the best form of raw diet as it has multi fold benefits such as cleansing your digestive track with its high fibre content and balancing your blood pressure. If yoga practice is accompanied by fruit diet such as in morning breakfasts it will gradually have a positive overall effect on body flexibility and weight loss benefits.
